LEAD TIMES

Q: What are lead times?

A: It changes constantly. We are trying to optimize supply chain to bring lead times down to 4 weeks max. Current lead times as of Nov 2025 is 3 months....

Q: Can you ship to my country?

A: Yes, but outside of US you are responsible for import fees and tariffs. 

AIRBAG

Q: What certifications does the E02 Race Airbag have?

A: The product has been certified by ALIENOR CERTIFICATION (notified body n°2754) following the protocol AMC-012: 02/2020. The product features the CE marking, which certifies its compliance with the requirements of EU Regulation 2016/425.
Regarding the electronic components, the CDU electronic card (with the remote HMI) is certified IEC 62368-1 / EN-62368-1 / UL62368-1 / CSA62368-1 by TÜV Rheinland (notified body no. 0197). Helite also declares that the CDU electronic card complies with the essential requirements of the RED (Radio Equipment Directive) 2014/53/EU and RoHS 2011/65/EU directives. Additionally, when worn, the airbag must always be used with a rigid back protector of level 2 conforming to EN 1621-2.

Q: Can I recharge my own airbag?

A: Yes, it's an extremely simple process and backup canisters are $85

Q: Where can I buy more canisters?

A: Through Helite direct is usually best. If you cannot get replacement cannisters through them contact us.

 

The airbag can be inflated a maximum of 30 times and has a lifespan limited to a maximum of 10 years under optimal conditions of use and maintenance
